Sacramento Bible Church for the Deaf History
Our first Deaf building church
Sacramento Bible Church was founded in 1996 by Paul Loos and Chester Brock. For 29 years, we have continued to serve our Deaf Christian community.
Our journey began in the 1970s when a few Deaf individuals started attending Carmichael Bible Church, which started provided interpretation ministry for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Over the years, more Deaf people joined, creating a growing need for a dedicated ministry.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Carmichael Bible Church for giving us the opportunity to establish a Deaf church. Their support helped lay the foundation for what Sacramento Bible Church for the Deaf is today.
Pastor Paul Loos 1975-2004
He served for deaf ministry 1975 -2004 "The Lord has used Paul Loos’s ministry for the Deaf through an interpreter at Carmichael Bible Church for many years. Finally, in 1996, a Deaf church was founded, and he continued his ministry as pastor of Sacramento Bible Church for the Deaf. His wife, Dale Loos, also served alongside him in various church ministries, including children's ministry. Through God’s gift, our Deaf church has experienced rich spiritual growth, equipping many to serve our Lord Jesus Christ."
